DT: The internal investigation committees set up to look into the violations of Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA), have been accused of not being serious and not living up to the standard.
Head of the parliament investigation committee responsible for looking into the violations, MP Dr. Ali Ahmed, stated that the Parliament is still waiting for administrative and monitoring procedures regarding the violations by the authority.
He pointed out that a separate internal committee was not formed to look into the documented violations of managers and high officials of the authority.
Mr. Ali Ahmed also said that the parliament committee had received a number of complaints from LMRA employees, especially from those who cooperated during the investigations. They were harassed by anonymous individuals through phone calls and social networking services such as Twitter and Facebook.
