GDN: AN Indonesian woman has been jailed for three months for falsely claiming she was raped.
The 33-year-old was convicted by the Lower Criminal Court, which also ordered she be deported after completing her sentence.
Police received a report from the woman claiming she was kidnapped and raped in Askar, according to court documents.
However, her allegations were found to be false after police questioned the man she accused, who it was discovered was in a relationship with her.
He said during questioning that the housemaid asked him to take her away from her sponsor's home.
