GDN: PROBLEMS facing runaway workers were yesterday highlighted during a visit by representatives of the Sri Lankan Embassy, in Kuwait.
Counselling and labour officials are looking for solutions with an understanding reached between Sri Lankans and their employers, besides addressing the situation of runaway housemaids.
Consular services will also be available today to community members from 9am to 1pm at the Sri Lankan Club, Manama.
